Is the OB-X8 the greatest synth of all time for Synthwave? It could well be in my opinion.
This set features 128 single and 16 binaural patches and also makes use of some of the other great new features in the latest update such as the modified 4 pole filter which makes Synthwave style basses that really thump much more than the other filters can. Also being able to have multiple waveforms has enabled me to get some really thick and creamy type sounds that I often associate with more of the Prophet 5 and Roland sound.
NOTE- If you haven’t yet updated to the latest firmware you can still use this soundset. For example the patches that I have used the new 4 pole filter on will just default to the original 4 pole filter.
This soundset will load to either of these banks. OB8, OBXa, OBSX, OBX, User Bank.
